Arne LaVen - Electrical Engineering Manager. Mr. LaVen has 15 years experience in design of Alternative Energy Systems utilizing fuel cells, fuel reforming, wind power, solar power and battery systems serving the telecom, remote power, UPS, residential and hybrid vehicle markets. He performed project management for Department of Energy programs with a $10M budget. Mr. LaVen has experience leading engineering teams through a structured product development process including UL, CE and TUV Certifications. His technical experience is in all stages of product development spanning modelling & simulation work, electrical & control systems design, test & measurement, production qualification, documentation, quality system implementation and final product support. Mr. LaVen has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resources Engineering with a Renewable Energy Systems Emphasis (ABET accredited) from Humboldt State University.
